FACILITIES
The spring and summer programs are located at Catherine Kolnaski Magnet School, a beautiful facility inside and out. The campers will have access to two playgrounds, a full-size ball field and nature trails. When the weather keeps us indoors, there are many options available including a fully equipped gymnasium, library and music room. Our media center is now complete with our own mobile smart board and iPads loaded with educational apps. Breakfast and lunch are prepared daily by trained professionals in the on-site kitchen and served in the cafeteria for little to no cost.
THE PROGRAM
For the summer program, there are two options available to meet the varying needs of our families. Please see the tuition section for details on the options and review the weekly descriptions to decide what works best for your family.
Regardless of the program you select, spring and summer activities will be designed to give campers the freedom and fresh air that they need while helping them to retain the knowledge that they worked so hard to acquire during the long winter months. We will offer a wide variety to ensure that each child has both activities that offer a level of comfort and the chance to experience the unfamiliar. This will include field trips, presenters, physical games, crafts, experiments and construction challenges. Daily centers and weekly clubs will give campers the chance to choose their own activities. Centers include topics such as sensory play, art projects and puzzles. Planned clubs include Mural Painting, Letter Boxing and Lego World.
