Summer Soundwaves Concert Series Presents Bob Marley Tribute Band At Groton Beach
Groton's Summer SoundWaves Concert Series at Esker Point Beach continues Thursday with Hope Road, a Bob Marley tribute.

NOANK, CT – Groton Parks and Recreation’s Summer SoundWaves Concert Series at Esker Point Beach continues Thursday at 6 p.m. with a performance by Hope Road. The concert series is presented by Thames Valley Communications, according to a release.
Hope Road is a tribute band recreating the music, the passion and the vibe of Bob Marley & The Wailers. Each member of this group has a deep respect for the music and the group they are paying tribute to. (To sign up for Groton breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Bob Marley & The Wailers created music that inspired, empowered and sometimes overwhelmed audiences, and the band's mission is to bring that music to listeners with an intensity and a positive energy they can’t help but enjoy.

Summer SoundWaves concerts are free and open to the public. Pets are not permitted during the concerts.
Convenient parking is available at Esker Point Beach for $10 per car and $5 per motorcycle. Free parking and shuttle service is also available at Fitch High School.

The concerts are alcohol-free and family-friendly events. Concessions are available from local food vendors.
