Town Manager Decides To Stay In Groton: Report
Groton Town Manager John Burt has decided to withdraw himself from consideration for a job in Illinois.

GROTON, CT — After contemplating a move back to the Midwest, Town Manager John Burt has decided to withdraw himself from consideration for a job in Illinois and stay in Groton, the New London Day reported.
According to the Day, Burt decided he wanted to stay in Groton after attending a forum in Urbana, Ill., where he was one of four finalists for a city administrator position. He was also a potential candidate for two other jobs in the Midwest that he ultimately did not pursue.
