USS Toledo Crew Arrives In Groton After 6 Month Deployment
The crew of the USS Toledo, a nuclear powered fast attack submarine, recently returned to Groton following a six month deployment.
GROTON, CT - The crew of the USS Toledo, a nuclear powered fast attack submarine, returned to Groton on Wednesday following a six month deployment, Fox 61 reported. Family and friends greeted the crew of approximately 130 as it pulled into the dock of Naval Submarine Base New London.
The sub is based in New London and consists of a crew of 15 officers and 117 enlisted sailors, according to Fox 61. They are expected to be home for 30 days before heading back out to sea.
