Woman, 18, Charged In Groton Stabbing: UPDATE
Police said a reported victim was sent to the hospital following a stabbing in Groton.

GROTON, CT — Police said an 18-year-old woman has been charged with stabbing another woman Tuesday evening around 5:40 p.m. in Groton, according to media reports. The incident occurred near Flanders Road and Gold Star Highway, police said.
According to the New London Day, police said 18-year-old Nateya Linton is accused of stabbing the victim while both women were stopped at a red light. Police said the victim was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
According to Fox 61, police said the victim and the accused knew each other, and the accused had allegedly followed the victim until she stopped at the traffic light. The accused was subsequently located by a town officer and arrested, police said.
