Zoning Change Proposed For Former William Seely School In Groton

A zoning change has been proposed around the former William Seely School in Groton, for which a public hearing will soon be held.

GROTON, CT - A zoning change has been proposed around the former William Seely School that would allow for multifamily housing and commercial development, the New London Day reported. A public hearing will be held next month by the Groton Zoning Commission to discuss this plan.

The proposal would change the zoning of properties from residential to commercial at 55 Seely School Drive and 91 and 105 Walker Hill Road, according to the New London Day. Town officials plan to market the properties together with a roughly 5-acre parcel on Route 12. (To sign up for Groton breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
