New Sleep Disorder Treatment Now Available at Madison

Waterstone is expanding care in Madison with a new specialized Sleep Disorders Treatment Program designed to help patients finally get the restorative sleep they need for better overall health. Led by Thomas Abbenante, MD, a board-certified sleep physician, and Amanda Ciampini, APRN, the program provides comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of sleep conditions. Patients can receive care for sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome, circadian rhythm disorders, and other sleep disturbances that affect daily life, mood, and long-term health. Quality sleep is closely connected to mental wellness, energy levels, concentration, and physical health. Madison Democratic Town Committee to Host Second Annual Community Advocacy Night
An Evening to Connect, Learn, and Take Action
Madison, CT —&nbsp;The Madison Democratic Town Committee (MDTC) will host its&nbsp;Second Annual Community Advocacy Night&nbsp;on&nbsp;Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM&nbsp;at&nbsp;Memorial Town Hall on the Madison Green.
The event, which is free and open to the public, brings together a wide range of local and regional organizations dedicated to civic engagement, social justice, environmental stewardship, and community support. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet representatives, learn about current initiatives, and discover ways to get involved.
Participating organizations include&nbsp;Indivisible, Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, Spectrum of Light, the League of Women Voters, Shoreline East, Guilford Peace Alliance, Connecticut Against Gun Violence, The Diaper Alliance, Madison CT Pride, Mad for Trees, and Madison Youth &amp; Family Services, among others.
“This event is about empowering our community,” said&nbsp;Andrea Aron, Vice Chair of the Madison Democratic Town Committee. “There are so many people who want to make a difference but aren’t sure where to start. Advocacy Night creates a welcoming space to connect with organizations doing meaningful work and to find a path to get involved.”
Designed to be both informative and accessible, the evening encourages residents of all ages and backgrounds to explore issues they care about and take the next step toward civic participation.
Whether attendees are longtime volunteers or simply curious about local advocacy efforts, Community Advocacy Night offers an opportunity to&nbsp;listen, learn, mobilize, and advocate.
