Complaints Made Over Vehicles Idling at Guilford Schools

Guilford police share with residents what is accepted concerning idling your vehicle.

The Guilford Police Department says it has received several complaints regarding idling vehicles at the Guilford Schools while parents are dropping off or picking up children.

Each school has signs reminding visitors of this law, police said. The anti-idling law is not only directed at idling buses but for any vehicle idling.

The only exception to this law is weather extremes.
