Crow Caught In Fishing Line On The Mend: Guilford Animal Shelter Staff
People are reminded not to leave fishing line behind.

A video from A Place Called Hope on our crow from yesterday. We have been told he has no broken bones, which is amazing considering how hard he struggled. We're hopefully that the feathers will be able to heal as he molts. If we get notice that he will be released back to the park, we'll pass along that info! Thank you to the amazing people at A Place Called Hope for the wonderful care this little one is now receiving! We know he's in the best of hands!

"Because Guilford is such a generous and caring community, we often have offers for donations to the shelter. We wanted to share the wish list for A Place Called Hope, the wonderful bird rehabilitation center that helped us out yesterday with our little crow and has assisted us multiple times in the past. These wonderful people do the work from the goodness of their heart, helping animals who are often put in harms way by us humans. Please, if you would like to donate something to their non-profit rescue, you can purchase an item from this list and drop it off here at the shelter. We will collect items and then bring the stuff up to them in two weeks!"
