Guilford “Citizens’ Cops” Get Firearms Training Over Weekend
The Citizens Police Academy participants did some shooting at the firing range under the watchful eye of Guilford police trainers.
GUILFORD, CT - Over the weekend participants in the Citizens Police Academy received shooting instruction from the police department’s firearms instructors.
On the Guilford Police Department’s Facebook page, the following was said about the training.
“On Saturday, some of the Citizens Police Academy participants received shooting instruction from our firearms instructors and got to take home some target trophies.

“All had fun and learned something new. Range day is always a favorite with our Citizens Police Academy Class.
“We appreciate the time and effort that all the participants put towards our program and the insight they they provide us on how to better serve Guilford.”
