Guilford Development Moratorium Put on Ice

The decision was made by the Planning & Zoning Committee.

GUILFORD, CT - The Planning & Zoning Committee recently voted down a proposed six-month moratorium that would have halted development applications for the Town Center South area.

The proposal was designed to give the committee more time to study potential zoning changes for the area, reports the Guilford Courier. The Town Center South area runs from the Town Green to the Marina.

In recent months, biotech company Oceanco, LLC has bought several parcels in the area - and is looking to acquire more - to create a corporate campus.
