Guilford Election 2016 Results: Kennedy Wins, Scanlon and Candelora Ran Unopposed
On Election Day here's information on all the candidates, polling places and more.

GUILFORD, CT — It was a good night for Incumbents in Guilford on Election Night as Ted Kennedy Jr., Sean Scanlon, and Vincent J. Candelora are all returning to Hartford.
State Sen. Ted Kennedy Jr., a Democrat, won re-election to a second term by defeating his challenger Bruce Wilson on Election Night, the New Haven Register reports. Both Scanlon, a Democrat, and Candelora, a Republican, ran unopposed.

GUILFORD, CT — Guilford residents head to the polls on Nov. 8 for the 2016 midterm election. Polling places in Guilford close at 8 p.m. On the ballot, registered voters in Guilford will be able to select candidates for president and vice president, United States senator, representatives to U.S. Congress, state senator, state representative, and registrar of voters.
In Guilford the choice for 12th Senatorial District is Democratic candidate Edward Kennedy Jr. and Republican candidate Bruce Wilson Jr. Kennedy is completing his first term. Wilson is a Madison resident.

In the 98th State House District Democrat Sean Scanlon is running unopposed. Scanlon is completing his first term.
For the 86th State House District Republican Vincent J. Candelora is running unopposed. He is completing his fifth term.

The candidates for president and vice president are Republicans Donald Trump and Mike Pence, Democrats Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine, Libertarians Gary Johnson and Bill Weld, and Green Party Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka.
For United States Senate the candidates are Richard Blumenthal, Democrat, Dan Carter, Republican, Richard Lion, Libertarian, and Jeffrey Russell, Green Party.
For United States Congress the choice is between Incumbent Rosa DeLauro, a Democrat and Angel Cadena, a Republican.
