Guilford Man Collected $57K Fraudulently Through Branford Clinic
State officials say the man fraudulently collected $57,000 in Medicaid payments for mental health services provided by his Branford clinic.

A Guilford man was arrested today and charged with collecting $57,000 in Medicaid payments for mental health services provided by his Branford clinic without the required supervision of a licensed psychiatrist, according to the state Department of Criminal Justice press release.

According to the arrest warrant affidavit, in February 2010 Meyers submitted documents to the state Department of Social Services in February 2010 portraying that his outpatient psychiatric clinic, Cornerstones in Branford, had on staff a licensed psychiatrist who was the medical director responsible for supervising the clinic’s provision of mental health services, the releases states.
