Guilford Nursing Home Fined: Report
A total of five nursing homes across the state were fined recently according to a report by the Connecticut Health Investigative Team.

Apple Rehab of Guilford located at 10 Boston Post Road was fined $1,200 last month by the state Department of Public Health for an incident at the facility stemming from a resident who fell and broke their leg, reports Kate Farrish, of the Connecticut Health Investigative Team.
The patient developed a pressure sore because the splint on the broken leg was not removed for three months, Farrish reports.
A total of five facilities around the state were fined recently including nursing homes in Middletown, Meriden, Southington, and Stamford.
