Guilford PD Investigating Overnight Vehicle Break-Ins
Many unlocked vehicles were broken into and items were stolen from the cars.

The Guilford Police Department is responding to a number of vehicle break-ins that occurred overnight on Oct. 2 and carried on into the early hours of Oct. 3, the department announced in a press release.
The vehicles that were broken into were all left unlocked in driveways and stolen items included money, gift cards and iPods.
Multiple vehicles were targeted in each driveway.

The Guilford Police Department advises residents not to leave their cars unlocked and to keep valuables away from plain view. They also recommend that residents have motion sensor lighting positioned around the exterior of their homes to alert them of such incidents.
