Guilford Police Arrests Include Burglary and Assault Charges

Guilford police log for October 20th – October 26th

Guilford police handled a total of 364 incidents during this time period. There were 183 calls for police service from the public, and 167 officer initiated responses. There were also 14 cancelled calls for service.

Police handed out a total of 77 written motor vehicle warnings, wrote 12 motor vehicle accident reports, handed out 10 infraction tickets. There were 22 residents who walked into the department during the week requesting assistance.

Additionally, there were 12 reports of false burglar alarms. There were 2 detective reports written.

Arrested were:

Karen D. Bachinsky, 49, of 944 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport, charged October 20th with burglary in the 3rd degree, robbery in the 3rd degree, and larceny in the 2nd degree.

Jared S. Boudreau, 20, of 181 Shore Drive, Guilford, charged October 26th with failure to drive in proper lane, evading responsibility/property damage/injury, possession of controlled substance (4 oz. of marijuana), use of drug paraphernalia.
