Guilford police log for November 3rd – November 9th

Guilford police handled a total of 381 incidents during this time period. There were 212 calls for police service from the public, and 154 officer initiated responses. There were also 15 cancelled calls for service.

Police handed out a total of 67 written motor vehicle warnings, wrote 28 motor vehicle accident reports. There were 24 residents who walked into the department during the week requesting assistance and 154 calls into the department requesting police help.

Lucie J. Altieri, 50, of 99 Church Street, Guilford, charged November 5th with illegally operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, improper use of high-beam light.

Mark W. Wetzel, 52, of 1645 Tuttle Avenue, Cheshire, charged November 6th with violation of protective order, breach of peace in the 2nd degree.

Elizabeth J. Kuen, 70, of 127 Foxon Hill Road, East Haven, charged November 9th with evading responsibility-property damage/injury, illegally operating a motor vehicle without minimum insurance, operating unregistered motor vehicle, following too closely.
