Guilford Police Arrests Include DUI and Disorderly Conduct Charge

Guilford police log for October 27th – November 2nd

Guilford police handled a total of 329 incidents during this time period. There were 174 calls for police service from the public, and 152 officer initiated responses. There were also 3 cancelled calls for service.

Police handed out a total of 63 written motor vehicle warnings, wrote 24 motor vehicle accident reports. There were 22 residents who walked into the department during the week requesting assistance and 146 calls into the department requesting police help.

Additionally, there were 17 reports of false burglar alarms. There were 4 detective reports written.

Arrested were:

Brian M. Sinz, 27, of 154 David Road, Durham, charged October 28th with illegally operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

Donald W. Carpenter, 53, of 181 Goose Lane, Guilford, charged October 30th with disorderly conduct.

James E. Savage, 42, of 80 Cooks Lane, Guilford, charged October 30th with disorderly conduct.
