Guilford Police Arrests Include DUI and Harassment Charges

Guilford police log for January 26th – February 1st

Guilford police handled a total of 389 incidents during this time period. There were 143 calls for police service from the public, and 240 officer initiated responses. There were also 6 cancelled calls for service.

Police handed out a total of 140 written motor vehicle warnings, wrote 25 motor vehicle accident reports. There were 32 residents who walked into the department during the week requesting assistance and 118 calls into the department requesting police help.

Additionally, there were 8 reports of false burglar alarms. There were 2 detective reports written.

Arrested were:

Joseph P. Buonocore, 65, of 1 Jamaica Court, East Haven, charged January 28th with illegally operating a motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs, failure to drive in proper lane.

Kristina M. Arthur, 36, of 865 Boston Post Avenue, Waterford, charged January 29th with larceny in the 6th degree.

Barbara J. Matuszewski, 35, of 176 Whitfield Street, Guilford, charged January 30th with disorderly conduct.

Christina M. Tremont, 41, of 560 Silver Sands Road, East Haven, charged January 31st with violating condition of release in the 2nd degree, harassment in the 2nd degree.
