Guilford police log for February 2nd – February 8th
Guilford police handled a total of 345 incidents during this time period. There were 148 calls for police service from the public, and 191 officer initiated responses. There were also 6 cancelled calls for service.
Police handed out a total of 98 written motor vehicle warnings, wrote 25 motor vehicle accident reports. There were 17 residents who walked into the department during the week requesting assistance and 129 calls into the department requesting police help.

Justin A. Gay, 32, of 81 Church Street, Guilford, charged February 3rd with illegally obtaining prescription drug – fraud, forgery in the 2nd degree.
Christina M. Siminausky, 37, of 171 Cranston Street, New Haven, charged on February 3rd with larceny in the 3rd degree.
Katherine A. White, 46, of 41 Kinsman Hill Road, Lisbon, charged February 3rd with harassment in the 2nd degree.
Katherine M. Hosfelt, 52, of 29 Averill Place, Branford, charged February 4th with illegally operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, illegally operating a motor vehicle without ignition device, possession of controlled substance (4 oz. marijuana).
Michael A. Wiles, 30, of 58 Brownell Street, New Haven, charged February 5th with issuing a back check under $2.
Joseph P. Quinn, 43, of 330 Short Beach Road, East Haven, charged February 7th with two counts of larceny in the 6th degree.
Neal G. Loggie, 33, of 2545 Sunnyside Avenue, Kissimee, Florida, charged February 8th with illegally operating a motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs, improper use of market/license/registration, operating a motor vehicle without a license.
John J. Prokop, 41, of 157 South End Road, New Haven, charged February 8th with larceny in the 6th degree, conspiracy (Misdemeanor C).
Joshua L. Rosa, 26, of 24 Simco Drive, New Britain, charged February 8th with violation of protective order, interfering with an officer/resisting.
