Guilford police log for July 21st – July 27th
Guilford police handled a total of 374 incidents during this time period. There were 177 calls for police service from the public, and 187 officer initiated responses. There were also 10 cancelled calls for service.
Police handed out a total of 97 written motor vehicle warnings, wrote 15 motor vehicle accident reports, handed out 8 infraction tickets. There were 158 phone calls into the police department requesting service and 17 residents who walked into the department during the week requesting assistance.

Sean T. Kane, 42, of 175 Hemingway Avenue, East Haven, charged July 21st with larceny in the 6th degree, breach of peace in the 2nd degree, and illegally operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
Jennifer L. Dotson, 37, of 425 Grand Street, Bridgeport, charged July 22nd with reckless driving, and illegally operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
Annemary M. Russell, 55, of 27 Copse Road, Madison, charged July 23rd with illegally operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, failure to display lights.
John N. Setaro, 21, of 273 Podunk Road, Guilford, charged July 24th with illegally operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
