Guilford Police Arrests Include DUI and Larceny Charges

• Guilford police log for February 9th – February 15th

Guilford police handled a total of 307 incidents during this time period. There were 168 calls for police service from the public, and 131 officer initiated responses. There were also 8 cancelled calls for service.

Police handed out a total of 51 written motor vehicle warnings, wrote 25 motor vehicle accident reports. There were 22 residents who walked into the department during the week requesting assistance and 143 calls into the department requesting police help.

Additionally, there were 11 reports of false burglar alarms. There was 1 detective report written.

Arrested were:

Stuart C. Press, 56, of 240 Landons Way, Guilford, charged February 11th with illegally operating a motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs, failure to drive in proper lane.

Jillian N. Dippold, 33, of 560 Silver Sands Road, East Haven, charged February 14th with larceny in the 6th degree, conspiracy (misdemeanor-C).

Mark E. Larson, 53, of 8 Munger Road, Guilford, charged February 15th with violation of protective order.
