Guilford police log for December 1st – December 7th
Guilford police handled a total of 307 incidents during this time period. There were 143 calls for police service from the public, and 159 officer initiated responses. There were also 5 cancelled calls for service.
Police handed out a total of 64 written motor vehicle warnings, wrote 25 motor vehicle accident reports. There were 17 residents who walked into the department during the week requesting assistance and 120 calls into the department requesting police help.

Gerrell E. Brown, 20, of 105 Gallup Street, Providence, R.I., charged December 1st with criminal impersonation and possession of narcotics.
Kenneth E. Blaha, 23, of 5 Neck Road, Madison, charged December 2nd with larceny in the 6th degree.
Stuart C. Press, 56, of 240 Landons Way, Guilford, charged December 2nd with disorderly conduct, risk of injury to a child.
Sean. W. Coates, 41, of 46 Wallace Road, Branford, charged December 5th with larceny in the 6th degree, burglary in the 3rd degree.
Michelle L. Griffith, 54, of 32 Saginaw Trail, Guilford, charged December 6th with disorderly conduct, risk of injury to a child, interfering with an officer/resisting.
William J. Healey, 52, of 36 Nashawena Avenue, West Haven, charged December 6th with criminal trespass in the 2nd degree, larceny in the 6th degree.
