Guilford Police Arrests Include Strangulation and Assault Charges

Guilford police log for July 14th – July 20th

Guilford police handled a total of 415 incidents during this time period. There were 175 calls for police service from the public, and 220 officer initiated responses. There were also 20 cancelled calls for service.

Police handed out a total of 113 written motor vehicle warnings, wrote 27 motor vehicle accident reports, handed out 10 infraction tickets. There were 146 phone calls into the police department requesting service and 21 residents who walked into the department during the week requesting assistance.

Additionally, there were 5 reports of false burglar alarms. There were 2 detective reports written.

Arrested were:

Dawn K. Bower, 41, of 386 Boston Street, Guilford, charged July 14th with illegally operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

Vincent A. Fraulo, 59, of 148 Whitfield Street, Guilford, charged July 16th with strangulation in the 3rd degree, assault in the 3rd degree, disorderly conduct.

Vincent H. Turcio, 44, of 11 Mill Stone, Guilford, charged July 16th with assault in the 3rd degree, disorderly conduct, unlawful restraint in the 3rd degree, criminal mischief in the 3rd degree.

Steven W. Brown, 18, of 74 Sperry Drive, Guilford, charged July 17th with assault in the 3rd degree, disorderly conduct.
