Guilford Police Investigate Armed Robbery

The Guilford Police Department is investigating an armed robbery which occurred at approximately 9:20 p.m. on New Year’s Eve at 455 Boston Post Road, the Citgo Station.

The suspect entered the store wearing khakis, a black hooded winter parka fully zipped up, a mask covering everything but his eyes and winter gloves, police said.

After walking around the store and placing an item on the counter, he opened his jacket and displayed a black handgun and demanded the clerk give him the money. He then told the clerk to get down on the floor before leaving the store, police said.

The male is believed to be white or possibly Hispanic and about 6’ tall. No injuries were reported. Anyone with information is asked to contact Ofc. Hudson or Det. Jakober at 203-453-8061.
