Scammers are looking to get your ATM/DEBIT card info right at the ATM. Currently, the State of Connecticut and surrounding states have found skimming devices on numerous ATMs at various banking institutions. These skimming devices can look very different but they all do the same thing; STEAL your account information and PIN number to access your bank accounts. The devices are attached to the ATM machine and are nearly a perfect match for the existing parts. Often times they go completely unnoticed until customer complaints pour into the bank about emptied savings and checking accounts.
