2 Guilford Roads Closed Due to Flooding
The Police Department updates residents throughout storms, and significant flooding is being reported.
UPDATE, 11:30 A.M. The road closures are starting.
Water Street is closed in the 200 block and Leetes Island Road in the 900 block at the town line with Branford. Both areas are under at least a foot of water. Use alternate routes.

Much like the storm on Friday, this one will pack a punch with high winds and heavy snow.

Unfortunately this can mean road closures with wires and trees down so we will continue to keep you updated throughout the day.
Please stay off the roads if possible as they are already becoming slippery in some locations. If you have to be on the road, please drive with extreme caution, leave early to allow for extra travel time and maintain a safe stopping distance from the vehicle in front of you.
