Guilford Police Seize Drugs, Cash and a Gun in a Major Bust
Guilford police say a 19-year-old was charged Tuesday after several months of investigation by the department.

On Tuesday, the Guilford Police Department executed a search and seizure warrant at 48 Pinebrook Circle.
The investigation was initiated as a result of information developed by a patrol officer, said Lt. Robert Robinson in a statement.
The search and seizure warrant was the culminations of several months of investigation for narcotics sales conducted by the Guilford Police Department’s Detective Unit.

During the execution of the search warrant, cocaine, marijuana, packaging materials, a large sum of cash, and a loaded 9mm handgun was seized from the residence, Robinson said.
Michael Murawski, 19, of Pinebrook Circle, was subsequently arrested on scene and charged with the above crimes.

Murawski is being held in leu of a $50,000 bond and is expected to be arraigned at Superior Court on Wednesday.
His charges include: criminal possession of a firearm, risk of injury to a minor, improper storage of a loaded firearm, operation of a drug factor, two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, and possession of a controlled substance of more than half an ounce.
