Guilford's Affordable Housing Plan Discussed
The Housing for Economic Development Plan was presented by town officials at a recent public hearing.

GUILFORD, CT - Local officials recently outlined Guilford's plans to add a few affordable housing units in town, a move they believe is necessary to help keep a healthy balance of residents of various incomes in the community.
Affordable units - which would rent for $800-$1,000 per month - would be concentrated on seven properties on the Boston Post Road, Town Center and Town Center South, reports the New Haven Register.
Town officials presented the plan to residents during a recent public hearing.
