Guilford's Nick Fradiani Mentors, Performs Duets on 'American Idol'

Guilford native Nick Fradiani, winner of Season 14 of “American Idol,” returned to the show Thursday night to mentor contestants and perform duets, of “Man in the Mirror” with Thomas Stringfellow, and his single “Beautiful Life” with Gianna Isabella.

Fradiani, the reigning American Idol, and past winners have teamed up with performers this year in the show’s final season.

“I’ve never sung this song as a duet, so it’s going to be pretty cool,” said Fradiani of the duet with Isabella. “I’ve sung it a thousand times, so hearing it a completely different way is pretty cool.”
