Police crisis negotiation, SWAT teams from Branford, Guilford, Madison, East Haven, North Branford and North Haven met to train Thursday.

GUILFORD, CT — Police crisis negotiation teams from Branford, Guilford, Madison, East Haven, North Branford and North Haven met Thursday as part of the South Central Regional Swat Team for training scenarios.
The Branford Police Department took to Facebook to let the community know that it "understands the importance of have ongoing training, especially to have good communication with the surrounding agencies that make up the SCR-SWAT team."
Police negotiators from all the departments trained with the "most up to date technology and improving our techniques and training, we can best serve our community."
