Guilford police say a <a href="http://wtnh.com/2014/12/07/man-injured-after-being-struck-by-car-in-guilford/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">man was seriously injured</a> after being hit by a car in Guilford around 6 p.m. Saturday evening, WTNH News 8 reports. The accident occurred on Route 1 between Goose Lane and State Street, News 8 reports. Police are still investigating the cause of the accident but his injuries were reported to be serious. Members and friends from the St George community will be preparing their favorite family recipes and cultural specialties from around the globe, creating a evening filled with great food, fellowship and community spirit.

Chloe’s Closet is a division of Guilford Interfaith Volunteers (GIV) that began in March 2026 to provide pediatric medical equipment and support to children and families in need. Modeled after the success of Charlie’s Closet, the program helps families access essential equipment regardless of financial circumstances.
Chloe’s Closet was created in honor of Chloe Negron, who sadly passed away in January 2025 from a rare disease. Through Chloe’s legacy, the program aims to bring comfort, support, and hope to families facing difficult medical challenges while continuing GIV’s mission of “Neighbor Helping Neighbor.”
