GUILFORD, CT — Police are looking for three people in connection with two larcenies in two local stores.

Guilford Police took to Facebook to share images of one person who they believe stole $700 worth of power tools and other photos of two people who they say stole $1,000 in perfume from local stores.

In the first case, a man went into Page’s Hardware store on Feb. 11 and Feb. 12 in the mid-afternoon, headed toward the tool section and, police say, stole a Dewalt Angle Grinder and other tools valued at around $700. Police say the man stuffed the tools in a backpack and "exited quickly out the door."

In the second case, two women went into Ulta Beauty Thursday just before 2 p.m. and "casually grabbed a few reusable shopping bags" before heading to the perfume section and police say, they "quickly loaded over $1,000 worth of fragrances and ran towards the door when staff attempted to speak with them."

But the women took off and got into a gray sedan with orange or yellow license plates, possibly Pennsylvania or New York.
