Milford Police: Guilford Man Drove Through 2 Yards, Damaging Both

Milford police say the man allegedly drove off, but they were able to identify him after he left his license plate at the scene.

Milford police say they charged Brian Harrison, 22, of Moose Hill Road in Guilford, on an arrest warrant Monday for an incident that occurred on Dec. 9, 2014.

Police said on that date, they received a complaint regarding a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Anderson Avenue near Chaucer Court. Investigation revealed that a vehicle drove off the roadway through two yards damaging fences, grass and a lamp post, police said.

The vehicle fled the scene, police said. Police did recover a license plate belonging to the suspect’s vehicle, which resulted in a warrant being issued for Harrison.

He was charged with reckless driving, evading responsibility, and traveling too fast for conditions. He was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Milford on April 16.
