No Vote Any Time Soon For Expanded U-Haul Facility In Guilford: Report
The developer is trying to work with the town to address concerns.

GUILFORD, CT — If you're waiting for a verdict on the proposed controversial new, three story U-Haul facility on Route 1 well you're going to have to wait until at least July, the Guilford Courier reports.
The facility is being pitched for 301 Boston Post Road on the former Mannix Motors site. Plans include spaces for 500 storage units and trucks for rent. The developer is trying work with the Planning and Zoning Commission on addressing some concerns including aesthetic issues, which means re-filing the application.
One possible solution includes moving the storage building farther away from the road, the Courier reports. However, other issues and concerns remain.
