Numerous Car Break-Ins In Guilford, Video Released

GUILFORD, CT — Break-ins to unlocked cars in Guilford continue, police said. Numerous unlocked vehicles were entered overnight in Guilford, police said Wednesday. Areas targeted include south of Boston Post Road and just north of Boston Post Road, police said.

"Below is video from last night on Peddler's Road which shows what happens when these criminals try to enter a vehicle that is locked. They try the door handle and move on. Nothing taken. Broken record time...... Lock your cars. The bad guys will stop coming to Guilford if it is not profitable for them each time they visit," Guilford Police said. "They travel to locations where they get the most bang for their buck. Help us help you!!!! Please....."

"Remove valuables from plain sight in your vehicles, lock your vehicles, do not leave your keys in the car and do not leave your garage doors open to allow access to your home.
