The blotter highlights alleged offenses ranging from larceny to violating a restraining order, while reminding readers that all charges are accusations and those named are presumed innocent.

Guilford To Conduct Stormwater Outfall Sampling Throughout Town (patch.com) — Guilford officials are beginning townwide stormwater outfall sampling, with Engineering Department staff inspecting hundreds of discharge points in both wet and dry conditions. Animal rescue rehabilitates four puppies found abandoned next to New Haven dumpster (nbcconnecticut.com) — Four newborn puppies abandoned by a New Haven dumpster are now being cared for by rescuers, with one in critical condition at Guilford Animal Medical Hospital. As veterinarians fight to save the weakest pup, New Haven police are investigating who left the litter and reminding residents to seek help instead of abandoning animals.
