Police: 2 Men Stole Keys, Then Car, From Guilford Service Station
Two men walked into the Guilford Texaco, swiped keys off the counter, then took off in the black Infiniti G35 those keys fit, police said.
GUILFORD, CT — Police said two men stole a set of car keys off a gas and service station counter Friday and then stole the car that belonged to those keys. Police said the car did not have a license plate.
In a Facebook post, Guilford Police shared a video of the suspects and details of the theft. Police said the car stolen was a black 2008 Infiniti G35.
Police also said that a third man drove into the lot in a U-Haul box truck and parked next to the two men police said stole the keys and both fled. Police said the two men were overheard saying they "were headed to New Haven."
