GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Police Department said the as of 6:30 a.m. Durham Road or Route 77 is closed between Prospect Hill Road and Hubbard Road due to emergency repair work.
This area is just north of the Police Station and I-95 Exit 58 on/off ramps. Alternate routes are available using either Long Hill Road or Little Meadow Road. The power company reports that this road closure will continue for most of the day so that repairs can be made.
"Please plan ahead for extended commuting times," Police said. "These repairs will also cause intermittent power outages throughout the day."
