Robbery Reported in Guilford, Similar Incident in Old Saybrook: Report
Both the Guilford and Old Saybrook police departments are working to see if the same suspect is being both robberies.
Guilford, CT - Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at Chucky's convenience store/gas station on Route 1 around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, WTNH News 8 reports.
One person can be seen on surveillance footage breaking the glass door before workers arrived to open the store at 6 a.m.
Police are also checking to see if there is a link to another robbery at the Food Bag convince store/gas station on Route 1 in Old Saybrook, News 8 reports. That robbery occurred at 3:20 a.m. and someone smashed a window to gain access. No information is available on what if anything was taken.
