The topic is likely to be discussed and possibly approved at a meeting next week.

GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford section of the Shoreline Greenway trail which would stretch from New Haven to Madison is getting closer to becoming reality, the Guilford Courier reports.

The trail would be 0.7 miles long and would connect the East River Bridge and Boston Street and Route 1. The project still requires local approval.

It may come up for discussion and possible action at the Board of Selectmen meeting on Monday, Sept. 19.
