Still No New Businesses Planned for Guilford Commons: Report

Since the Spring of 2016, the Guilford shopping center has not welcomed a new retailer.

GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Commons is still trying to fill around five or six retail slots, having not welcomed a new retailer since the Spring of 2016, reports the Guilford Courier.

The shopping center currently includes The Fresh Market, Ulta Beauty, Michaels Craft Store, Bed Bath & Beyond, DSW, Charming Charlie, Petco, Hair Cuttery, and Verizon Wireless. The 139,000-square-foot shopping center was opened in November 2015.

The developer's communication manager told the Courier that there are no new tenant announcement at this time, but said they were in negotiations with national retailer and restaurant to lease space in the development. To sign up for Guilford breaking news alerts and more, click here.
