GUILFORD, CT — Jessica Schwartz said her father, the unnamed artist, was waiting on a "good storm" to march his penguins onto the Green. Ninety-nine of them.

Thousands and thousands have shared her Facebook post about her dad's wooden penguins — yes, sorry, they're not alive, per se, save in some imaginations.

And perhaps not thousands, but hundreds, are visiting the Guilford Green to see for themselves.
