100-Plus Minors Found At Bar In Hamden: Police
More than 100 underage patrons were found at a bar in Hamden during a liquor compliance check, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — More than 100 minors were found at a Hamden bar during a recent liquor compliance check, according to police. On Jan. 25, members of the Hamden Police Department Street Interdiction Team, Patrol Division and Traffic Division conducted a “liquor compliance check” at Clubhouse Café, 3816 Whitney Avenue, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said police received several complaints related to underage drinking on the Hamden Police 411 Tip Line. Police issued “in excess of 100” infractions to patrons that were under 21 years of age, according to Smith.
The State Liquor Commission has been notified, Smith said.
