The 1980's Return to Spring Glen

"Back to the 80's" Adult Dance

The Spring Glen Parent Teacher Association (PTA), a chapter of the National PTA, will host “Back to the 80’s” adult dance on Saturday, May 21st from 7pm to 10:30pm at the High Lane Club (40 High Lane North Haven).

The dance will feature live performances by Connecticut-based band The Future Heavies. Covering new wave, pop, R&B, dance and rock from the 1980s, The Future Heavies are guaranteed to get the dance floor filled.

An assortment of 80s inspired snacks foods will be provided as well as beer by Black Hog Brewing and a selection of wines. 1980’s inspired desserts will be featured by local event planner A Party Style.

A silent auction will be held, offering the opportunity to obtain quality goods and services while supporting a charitable cause. Some of the items on auction will include gift certificates to local restaurants and retail shops, local artwork and various memberships.

“Back to the 80s Dance” is open to anyone in the community 21 and over. Tickets are $25 per person and $40 for a couple. Proceeds support children’s programs at Spring Glen Elementary School. With live performers and 80s-inspired eats, this charity event is sure to transport you to a totally rad decade at an affordable price.
