Car Veers Off Road, Into Lake in Hamden
Fire officials are advising motorists to use caution while driving due to slippery conditions.

HAMDEN, CT — In a day filled with accidents as a result of the snow that began falling late this morning, a car veered off the road and into a lake late Tuesday afternoon.
Fire officials were on the scene on Waite Street for a car off the road into the lake. Officials said the only occupant was the male operator and no injuries were reported.
Officials said to avoid the area and Waite Street was closed at about 5 p.m.
