Tonight's Free Movie Night: Raiders of the Lost Arc

Tonight's Free Friday Night Movie is "Raiders of the Lost Arc."

The movie start at sundown, approximately 8 p.m. at the park at Meadowbrook, 2761 Dixwell Ave. The movie will be screened on a large, inflatable screen in front of the concert pavilion. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site. Food options include popcorn, hotdogs, fried dough, and ice cream.

“We are so pleased to be able to have this special event in Town Center Park," said Mayor Scott Jackson. "We extended the event throughout the entirety of August due to an overwhelmingly positive response to our movie night last year. We hope residents and their family and friends will enjoythe movie series.”

Members of the public were able to cast a vote and help determine what movies would be castthroughout July.

The movies run through August:

Aug. 24: 80s Night: "Raiders of the Lost Arc"

Aug. 31: Family Night: "The Princess Bride"
