The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
over spending.
start monitoring police and firefighters who come to work (punch in on the time clock and go back home)
start penalizing the mayor and persons who sign on bills that is not of great importance to the town (maybe if these town representatives know that they will be charged for signing bills that suits their monetary intent then they would think twice before signing).
Stop allowing the garbage company to pick up trash in other towns ,where this town foot the bill for gas,
Charge a fee from sports teams coming from out of town to use our fields
Stop allowing persons to fill up their gas tanks for personal use.
Charge a fee for events on the green to help with up-keeping and maintenance.
Sell the golf course to one of the colleges who does not have a course. Southern or Quinnipiac
These are just a few to start! There is no reason for the town taxes to be high
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
What makes me different is that I am new to politics and do not intend on making promises I can’t fulfill
Instead I plan to have discussions with the community and council members to see how best they can solve problems in Hamden.
I also plan to meet with members from other communities that had similar problems the town of Hamden is having, and learn from them how to solve the towns issue
List other issues that define your campaign platform:
I support the people’s issues: lower taxes, improve education, opportunities, safe neighborhoods
The best advice ever shared with me was ...
Stay true to myself, always be open to learn. and Work hard, and never give up on my dreams, even when no one else believes in me.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I am dedicated and plan to work hard for the town. and to be a voice for the people of Hamden. And plan to work together with the community and make decisions that will create a much better future for the people of Hamden.
