Hamden Caretaker Accused Of Stealing $30K From Elderly Woman
A home health aide from Hamden is accused of stealing more than $30,000 from an 85-year-old woman.
HAMDEN, CT — A Hamden woman is accused of stealing more than $30,000 from an 85-year-old Meriden woman while working for her as a home health aide, according to the Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports Kyena Marryshow-Thomas, 47, was arrested this week following a lengthy investigation.
Police said Marryshow-Thomas is accused of using credit cards in the woman’s name and taking advantage of her mental state, according to the Record-Journal.
