Hamden Man Accused of DUI had Teen in Car in Wallingford Crash

The man, who had a 14-year-old in the car with him at the time of the crash, was arrested after an afternoon accident.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A 62-year-old Hamden man was arrested on DUI charges after he was involved in an accident in Wallingford on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

The Record-Journal reports James D’Amico, of Harrison Drive in Hamden, failed field sobriety tests and had a 14-year-old with him in the vehicle at the time of the accident.

No injuries were reported in the crash and police said that D’Amico refused to be fingerprinted or photographed during the booking process.
